"JOE WILES: We'll take a look at segment two. The lead part in the introduction to Fall Out Boy's "Sugar We're Going Down." Let's take a look at the guitar. Now, the lead part is done on the G string and the B string, okay? We're going to fret both of those at the 7th fret with our ring and pinkie. Now with our index finger, we're going to be back here on the 5th fret of the B string, okay? We're going to release our pinkie to that. We're going to come up here into the 8th fret. So it's 7 and 8 on the G and B strings. We're going to release that again back to the 5th fret where our index finger still is and then put our pinkie back on the 7th fret. Slowly, all put together, it sounds like this. Now, this goes in conjunction with the rhythm part that we did in the last segment. So maybe grab a friend and divide the part between you two. But if you want to do it all by yourself, the whole part would look like this. Look at this. Now, let's put all that together. If you want to do it by yourself, this is how it would sound. I'm going to play it slowly for you, okay? Do the palming riffs. And this is the point in which we'd switch to the lead if we were just by ourselves. It sounds like this. And we repeat that beat twice in a row. The song sounds like this. Do the palm riffs. Right. You can either grab a friend and do it together, which is more fun in my opinion, or you could do it all by yourself. It's your choice. In our next segment, we're going to take a look at number 31. It's a song by Seether. I hope you'll join me."
