"In this segment we are going to take a look at the Pre-Chorus riff of Nirvana's "Come As You Are". Let's take a look. We're going to start it off with a three fingered power chord, we wrote it on the E string. In fact, on the second fret of the E string. That's your index finger on the second fret of the E string, ring finger on the fourth fret of the A string, and pinkie of the fourth fret of the D string. Hit that a couple times. Then we're going to hit the high two strings wide open. OKay? The next chord we'll play is the three fingered power chord, we wrote it on the open A string, so you're going to ring out your open A string. And, I'll actually pad my finger on the cross of second fret of the D and G strings, like that. The Pre-Chorus sounds like this, (audio demo) and then we go back into that main riff. (Audio demo) In the next segment, we're going to talk about the actual chorus. I'll see you there."
