"When it comes to photography, there are several different film types that you can use and of course your film type corresponds with type of camera you have. The thirty-five millimeter film is the most standard, creates the four by six or eight by twelve images that you see typically and is used with thirty-five millimeter cameras. Again most every photograph you've seen from the amateur, average photographer is going to be shot on thirty-five millimeter film. Another option, film option with thirty-five millimeter cameras is slide film. Slide film is different in that when you drop your film off, you don't get a bunch of prints when you're done, you get the slides. Slides can be used typically in slide shows, but they can also be used, you can scan them and create digital images from them. Some people find that they get better images from the slides but one important thing to remember is you get what you shoot when you shoot on slides. Another film format is the medium format, which would be used with a medium format camera like this. The film is two and a quarter inches by two in a quarter inches creating a square image which can make for some interesting composition. Another film type is the four by five used with the large format camera. Excuse me! The four by five film looks like such, this whole device is inserted into the back of the camera and again when you're done, you get a negative or a positive that's actually four by five inches. So it's important to remember when you're choosing your camera. Maybe you want to determine what type of film you want to use before hand and use that to base the decision on what type of camera you get."
