"One different type of camera is a medium format camera. Medium format cameras shoot on film that is about two and a quarter inches by two and a quarter inches. It's a square image, and more often than not, you know, you'll find this with professional photographers, people shooting for magazines, and people shooting landscape, and also real estate. You see here, this is my medium format camera, and what I really like about it, that it, you know, you get more with each image. You'll see the negatives. And in fact, this is actually a positive, but the film you use is much, much larger, and allows the photographer to have more room to work with. You know, as opposed to just having a wider lens, a medium format camera will just give you kind of like a bigger eye to look at the scene. Now I've been told that you know, having a medium format camera will change the way that people look at you because you know, psychology comes in play with everything. And if you have a client, and they see you using a medium format camera, they may assume that you know a little bit more than someone coming in with a thirty- five millimeter camera. So not only are there physical advantages, like allowing you to see more with each image, but, you know, there's some psychological things at work. And, you know, while I'm not encouraging you to go out and get a medium format camera and pretend that you know more than you do, I am saying that it has an effect on people, and they see you working with a medium or large format camera, and they might assume that you know a thing or two more about photography than someone using a standard thirty-five millimeter camera."
