JANE ENTWISTLE: We are experts in improv and today, we have taught you the basic structures and rules of improv. We've taught you about 'yes and'-ing, about accepting offers, about not blocking, about give and take, communicating, accepting offers. It really reminds me of life. That if we could do these things in life, saying yes-and a little more, not blocking, maybe giving strong offers, I don't know. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: I'm sure life would be a lot better. JANE ENTWISTLE: We hope you've enjoyed this segment on the building blocks and structures of improv. We would love to show you what some improv can look like when you've incorporated all of these things together, so tune in to the next show. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Where we'll be doing some games, games that a lot of improvisers know. We may not always share the same name, but they're the same game. That's one thing that you learn while doing improv is there's the same kind of structure and ideas but different naming of things. So join us in our segment where we do these games and have a lot of fun with it, incorporating everything that we've learned up to this point. JANE ENTWISTLE: You can check me out at www.thejayneshow.com, that's J-A-Y-N-E. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: And I could be seen at ComedySportz, Los Angeles. I perform there. You can check out the website, www.comedysportzla.com. Remember, 'sportz' is spelled with a "z" 'cause it was cool in the 80s."
