"JANE ENTWISTLE: I'm Jane Entwistle with ExpertVillage.com. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Hi and I'm Andrew Stubblefield. Welcome back. JANE ENTWISTLE: We're teaching you about this basic rules and structure of improv, and we just covered space work. So we would like to teach you a game that we call "Room Add-on," which really brings home this idea of how important it is to pay attention to what each other is doing on stage. And also what you have established. If I have established that I have a fire right here, and then, I suddenly forget and I walk through my fire, the audience is going to know that I just did that, so it's really important to remember what other people have set up and what I myself have set up. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: That also kind of reincorporates the whole concept of what we learned earlier, yes-and, the give and take, to just go with whatever offer is offered to you. JANE ENTWISTLE: So in this game called "Room Add-on," I am going to think of a room in the house in my head and not tell Andrew. I am going to go in, and do one simple piece of space object work in that room that will, hopefully, let Andrew know what room I've picked. Andrew will then come in, and he's going to add-on his own piece of space object work. Now, I'm going to watch that. I'm going to do my original piece, his piece, and then, I'm going to add-on another piece and, hopefully, we're doing it in the same room. So here we go. I'm thinking of a room in my head. Let's see if you can figure out what room it is. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Now, I'm going to come in and add something else to that room. JANE ENTWISTLE: Now, I would come in. I would repeat my action, Andrew's action, and then, I would add another action, and I think that you probably know the room I picked. Do you know what room I picked? I think you're right, what room did I pick? ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: It was the bathroom, obviously. JANE ENTWISTLE: It was the bathroom. So, you see we paid attention to one another. We built this beautiful bathroom using space object work. I hope that you could see it at home as well we could see it here. "
