"Hi, we are back and we are going to talk a little bit about improvisation. I?m going to just use the scales, what we talked about previously, and I?m going to make up notes and play what I want to on top of some chords. I?m going to play a background track here with some chords and a beat to show you what I?m talking about. That's it! That's the basic idea for improvisation. When you want to take a solo when you are playing music, you just play what you feel using what you know. I was using an F scale, an F major scale, because I know where the notes are for that scale all throughout the fretboard here. That's it! That's the idea for improvisation. When we come back I?m going to play you an example of a piece of classical music, and show you how it pertains to what we've done so far. Thanks."
