"In this clip we will be discussing how to set up a virtual instrument track in digital performer. So create a new virtual instrument track we go to project, add track, instrument track, and there is a few options here; one is the Apple Dls music service and the MAC 5 sample which we have installed in our machine. Any of your plug in will show up right here, your plug in virtual instrument we are going to MAC 5. The MAC 5 instrument face come up, there is the MAC 5 we are going to have it go to analyze one and two. You see how quick right before, change the color to whatever we want. You can rename it too if you like, we are going to create a mini track and we will call that for now MAC 5 mini so you can record your mini track. Then the output will go to the MAC 5 to any of the sixteen mini channels that it speaks to ht MAC 5 on. So we would send it to the first one and that is all you do to set that up and now it is ready to play."
