"Well let's talk about three types of guitars today. We will start with the very first guitar as we know it and that is the classical guitar. So form of the classical guitar has been around for roughly five-thousand years. This is not a classical guitar this is a steel string guitar, the classical guitar has a smaller body and has nylon strings. The strings are further apart, the neck is wider and it allows it is a little bit easier as far as playing classical music and solo type of guitar. This is a steel string, the body is a little bigger, it is a little louder, it is a little bigger and it is used in modern music country, rock, pop, most of what you see today on M-TV or whatever is going to have if it is a acoustic guitar would be this type of guitar. By acoustic I mean we don't plug it in, it is not like electric, the classical guitar and this steel string acoustic are both acoustic and I like it. This is also called a dreadnought in a steel string which I thought was interesting it is actually named after a ship. So there you go. The third type of guitar is a electric guitar which means you plug it into something. The strings and the neck are exactly the same actually the spacing wise as the steel string acoustic. So there you go. I also want to talk about the part of the guitar really quick for references, it is very much like our body there is a body, there is a neck and there is a head. There is no legs or feet I don't know why but there is body and a neck and a head. These are machine heads, strings are wider and all that stuff. This is the fret boards this is the fret these little metal things very important to remember there is six strings. This is a bridge it is called a bridge and this is called the nut and this is the sound hole and that is pretty much what you need to know now. So next we are going to talk about how we are going to hold the guitar it is very important, it effects you playing it can make a very easy to play or difficult so we would be right back. "
