"Hello my name is James Colonna from Cherry Hills Studios on behalf of Expert Village. In this next clip we'll talking about rudimental breakdowns, rudiment's are a drummer's bible, they are what you need to know. I personally I didn't know my rudiment's until I was 18, 19 years old, I didn't even know there we're things called rudiments, once I started learning about rudiment's I started to realize how all the rudiments are actually the same thing. Everything is based on off of pretty much singles, doubles and flam's everything is kind of a combination of those 3, sometimes the doubles will become you know 3's so I guess you can say there's 4 things or there can be 4's and there's 5 things, but really all your doing is playing singles, doubles and flam's. And if you can understand how these things work together you know there's only so many mathematical possibilities in the world of drumming there's only so much you can do, the possibilities are not endless. And that's what makes drumming a craft which you can perfect you can take to the next level if you want to and so I will now show you how to take rudiments break them down and see how certain rudiments are actually other rudiments you know there are other rudiments hidden within more complex rudiments. That you already know what you might learn new rudiments that you've already played but you didn't realize that you already played them."
