"Ok we're moving forward again. Now we're up to May 17, 1948 and we have this wonderful addition. Notice that there is the mailing label. Now, sometimes the real collectors, they will take one with the mailing label, but they don't really want it because they want it clean. But, if it's their first copy and they are looking for a certain edition, collectors will kind of go up again under the better condition and replace the old one, but they will start with a mailer. This one of course has no zip code because there was no zip code in those days. This one has some interesting topics. One of them is Churchill's memoirs on Hitler attacks. Churchill talking about it. But if you open this up it's got great stuff. Here is something from the history in terms of culture. These are like the Harlequin romance of the day. These are pictures of heroines on paperback books, and just look at some of these they are absolutely gorgeous. Look at some of these titles, Unconquered, Alone Among Men, That Girl from Memphis, The Wild Yazoo, pretty impressive. And as we go further, everywhere we go there is incredible history. Here is an air base that talks about "one airbase requires a huge army and a navy" and this talks about an air base, I have to look where it is, it's an army supply base. It talks about a harbor craft and how many men it takes. I don't know specifically the details as it would take to long to read them, but talking about the military capabilities at the time. So, the history of the military as well we talked about the tobacco, Lucky Strike, and that was when it was cool to smoke tobacco at the time. Another incredible time in history that marks a different period that has changed in so many ways. "
