"In this clip we're going to talk about slaps. The slap, you need to be relaxed a little bit. You need to be relaxed for all of the drum, when you're playing it. But, the hand needs to be relaxed more, and it's like, a little bit open, and you let the fingertip touch the drum. And make sure that you pull off your hand very fast on the drum, to reproduce the sound. This is the slap. You can also say ba, da, ba, da, ba, da. So when you play the drum, you need to speak clearly. Like the drum, you're replacing your mouth, so you need to speak clearly."
