"In this clip, we're going to talk about different sounds you can reproduce on the Djembe. The first one we're going to talk about is a bass. The bass, is only your palm. Flat palm. And you put it on the drum, lift your hand, and be straight when you're playing the drum. You have to make the sound vibrate. You hit the drum, and also you let your hand off the drum very fast, to produce the sound. That's a bass. And with a bass, let's call the bass number one. And you need to be straight, so you can breathe when you're playing the drum. You don't play the drum down like this, like that. You need to be straight, to balance everything, so the sound can come out from you, to make people dance. That's the bass again. You can also say, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun."
