How to Title a Rap Song

"Now we're going to talk about you coming up with the title. When you come up with the title to your song, you have to understand that it's the title of that track, so if it goes to radio, this will be the title, this is what they'll call the requests. If it's on the back of a CD, will it be eye-grabbing and attention-grabbing enough to make somebody want to listen to that song? Based on two or three words. 'Cause you don't want to have no song title that's like "The Day My Momma Got Hit By the Red Truck." People won't want to listen to that. And you won't to always have an obvious title neither that's just like "My Momma." You know, or whatnot. I mean, in certain circumstances but you want to have something that's eye-grabbing. It's got to be like, does this sound like the type of song I want - that sounds suspenseful, that sounds emotional, that sounds pretty hype, that sounds crunk. It's also got to make people want to draw on and listen to it, and you don't want to give them a title that's like "Oh My Darling" and then have a song about killing people. You know what I'm saying? So you want to have it to also match what the record actually is, so take your time when you pick the title to your song, and think hard about it and make sure it reflects the song right."
