"JASON PAINTER: Hi. I'm Jason. Today, we're painting on a glass. I'm going to talk about picking a design. Painting on glass is kind of a tricky thing to do. So, you're going to want to start with a really simple design first off. After you get a little more experience, intricate lines and things are a lot easier to do. I'm going to paint a skull and crossbones on here. So I just quickly--I just drew one out and I'll let you look at this. It's going to be two colors. We're going to have an outline and we're going to have a white. It's not going to be overly complex. I want to mark out on my drawing what color is going to be where. I'm going to put a W for everywhere that's going to be white. Basically, the head is going to be white. The eyes and the nose and the outline are all going to be black. So I'll just put a B, a B, and then a B for the black and white everywhere that it's going to need to be painted. Now, we're going to outline it first and we're going to fill in the black spots and we're going to do this step first because we can actually paint away from the line rather than trying to outlining it and getting black into the white. So now we've got the design picked out, we just want to make sure that we don't get anything too complicated. Nothing with lots of--we don't want a lot of spots. We don't want a lot of thin lines. We don't want a lot of colors, so just a simple one or two color thing would be best."
