Burchell with B4 Entertainment on behalf of Expert Village, and today we're going to talk about producing, manufacturing, marketing, and distributing your independent CD. All right, now let's talk about marketing. Let's talk about Internet marketing. The first thing that you do after you got your record produced, you got it manufactured, the first thing you gotta do is start marketing this record. People gotta know about your record. And Internet is a huge, huge thing to market your record. So many people are on the Internet. Everybody may not be on the radio station. Everybody may not be looking at a certain TV station but a whole lot of people are on the Internet. So what you want to do is market on the Internet, get you your own website, www-dot the name of your band, artist, group, whatever dot-com. You need to have that 'cause it's so important 'cause so many times, people are just surfing the web and they come across different stuff, and when you're promoting--and you can promote your website. You can get an e-mail list. And it's so important when you start doing your Internet marketing, have an e-mail list on your website. When you get your own website, have an e-mail list. Anybody comes to the website can sign up and you can let 'em know about your releases, your show dates, the CD coming out, you're working on a new CD. Anything that can keep you in touch with the fans is so important and the website is just so big. And have our own website, not just a social networking site. You need to have your own personal website where you could redirect everybody back tom, and you could sell your CDs on your website, you can talk about your concert dates. You can talk about anything you want on your website. But the Internet is such a big way to market your project. You can go to Google, buy AdWords and--or any of these search engines that you can buy AdWords and you could talk to--just type in about certain genres in music, you can type in that, type in, your name could pop up. Also, what you want to do is there's websites out there that deal with the type of genre of music that you do. What you want to do is place ads on those websites. If you're rap, you can go to a rap site where they talk about all the latest rap news and buy a web banner on there. Get a web banner made and it'll redirect people back to your website where people hear snippets of your songs and people could know about your music and sign up for your e-mail list. So it's so important to Internet market because so many people are finding out about music nowadays via the Internet."
