Video Transcript

"In this clip we will show you now the contra hido. It's the same turn but going to the other direction. Okay? So technique keeps the same and the most interesting things is you start having now elements to start your improvisation. We will show you how you can change from one turn to another turn. So change from one direction to the other. One thing that it's very important to understand also is that we have a rhythm in this turn for the lady. That it's one and two, one. So it starts, one and two, one. So you have syncopation. One and two, one. Syncopation. Three movements in two beats and three movements in two beats, one. Okay? So it's very important to understand this rhythm because it's what we call in Argentinian tango el compas. And el compas with syncopations gives you a lot of richness to your dance and it's the way we dance. Okay? So remember, ladies, in your dance to add this syncopation to your turns. Okay? So let's go show again the turn to the one we show you before, to the same right. So I add the syncopation. One and two, one, one and two, one, one, one and two, one and ending for the end of this element."
