"Hi, my name is Gary Mitnik. I?m a sculptor here in Sedona, Arizona, and I?m here of behalf of Expert Village. Grab one of these pieces as the process goes. Here's a piece that has not been sandblasted it looks like, looks like it's got all sorts of slurry on it. We'll put it in the sandblasting cabinet, sandblast all the white slurry that still stuck on here, and get it off, make it look real pretty. This is what it looks like when it's pretty and sandblasted. Here's an eagle that we're doing. You see the wings have been cut off, the legs have been cut off, and any other parts that are on here have been cut off. And what we're going to do is weld the pieces back together and try to duplicate the texture as best as we can to make it look like there was nothing even welded there. But you can still see, it's hollow, like a chocolate bunny. We're going to grind off all the imperfections, take off anything that shouldn't be there, and add stuff that needs to be there. Here is the finished sculpture, without a patina. This was cast in two parts. She was cut in half and if you can't see where the weld line, or the seam line is then we've done a good job. I?m not going to tell you where they are. But actually, it's right across the middle. What we've done is we've taken texture burrs and we've tried to match her texture the best we can with the bits and tools that we have. We will give this a final sandblasting, and then it's time for patina. Now, right now, to this stage right now it's about five weeks to seven weeks. It also depends on how busy we are. That's every place. You want to come on in?"
