on 8/2/2008 Great series for basic instruction. In this video, though, sextuplets (triplets doubled up) are demonstrated, not 32nd notes. Athough they're not usually referred to as such, 6 strokes x 4 beats = 24th notes.

"I'm going to demonstrate thirty-second notes on the high hat. I'll do that for four measures then I'll add the snare drum in. After four measures I'll add the bass drum in. Remember your job as a drummer in the band, the most important thing is timing. So count everything that you do. In a live situation, a studio situation, it doesn't matter. Count everything that you do. Here we go. One, two, three. Those were thirty-second notes. Don't forget to count everything that you do."
