"Hi, I'm Greg from Expert Village and today I'm going to teach you some magic tricks that you can do around the dinner table. The toothpick star. Whenever you're performing magic you're bound to run into people who just keeps nagging you and saying how is it done, how is it done, how is it done? This is a good one to show them, because you're really not giving anything away, you're just showing them science and usually that will defuse the situation. So snap five toothpicks in half without breaking them and put them into this design. Then all you need to do is drop a little bit of water into the center and the wood absorbs the water, strengthening it back out and turning into this nice little star. So everything else is just acting and nonsense and having fun. It's a great little gag, I encourage you to try it a couple of times, give it a try I'm sure you'll love it."
