"I'm Holly Olson on behalf of Expert Village. We are going to talk about practicing good posture with walking for runway work. Very common in the old days and charm schools using a book on your head. Nothing has changed. We still practice with books on our heads to get proper balance and good posture. Sometimes it is easier said than done. We want to be able to pick up your feet one foot in front of the other and still maintain a walk. Turning with good balance, almost cut myself there, and get used to it. I am going to give this book to Lisa and she is going to try. Okay, as Lisa walks she is going to have a little bit more concentration as we sprung this on her pretty quick, keeping that balance, a little practice. That's all right and what happened there is her weight went to her toes. When we practice the balancing before, I'll have her try to walk back with it, one foot in front of the other and think about weight going to your heels more than your toes as you turn. Should keep that book right on your head. One more time forward. Takes a lot of practice; this is a great way to get good posture. Stop and hold and excellent."
