"I'm Holly Olson on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to talk with my model Lisa here about different ways your body language can improve your chances of being hired for a runway show. If Lisa came to me and she was standing there talking and I'm asking her a question, you want to make sure your hands are never folded but to your sides. Folding your hands in front or standing with your arms folded shows insecurity and you want to make sure you have a nice open look like you are ready to answer any thing that they ask and you are ready for the show. Also maintaining your weight on your back foot will give you a lead of line and having your foot jerking in front with a pointed foot forward, shows that you a direct person and ready to answer the questions they are going to ask you. Also never put your hands behind your back because it does show a sign of timidness or the feeling that you don't know what to do with your hands. Agents or casting agents aren't looking for models that don't know what to do with your hands. They are looking for secure in a nice position and a presentation. "
