O.K., now we're going to take a look at our valves. This is valve number two because I put it in a place where I know it's valve number two. Now on modern day instruments, they label them, but unfortunately for this one it's not labeled. I looked all over, and you should usually check if you have an older instrument. Now what I'm doing here is I'm using my hands and a little bit of terry cloth, simple terry cloth, to wipe the outside of the valve and inspect it for maybe any imperfections anything that might be broken or worn. You can see these are pretty worn and old but they are in pretty good shape. Then to get into the holes where the air travels, again I use my small piece of wire leader and I just poke it through. Twist it around a little, and clean it right out. These are in pretty good shape. I'm getting each of the holes, air holes. You get down in the bottom of the valve and give it a little spin around. There was some junk down there and I think that's about it, that's one clean valve. Repeat two more times.
