"IAN LOVEALL: Hi! I'm Ian Loveall with Expert Village and we're painting murals. As you can see, we've been having fun so far. Miscellaneous materials you will find around your house made for great texture tools. I'll show you how. Alright, last, we have the stamp. Now, I'm not sure how this one will behave today. It's pretty old. It's seen better days. But we're going to give it a try anyway. This was a car sponge with the handle that I saw and thought, "Hey, I could use that." And so, I cut it into leaf shapes. I had a lot of trees I was painting and didn't want to do them all by hand, so I cut this. So, you just dab it or again you can brush the paint on, and then just slap it on the wall. Not terribly spectacular up close, but if you got a 40-foot wall full of trees this is the way to go. Obviously, the fresher the sponge, the cleaner the print is going to be. This one is--is caked with paint and more paint and dried paint and more paint. So you can see, it's really, really tough almost like vulcanized rubber. But a fresh sponge will give you a nice, clean imprint every time. But again, on a 40 foot wall, no one's going to care."
