"IAN LOVEALL: Hi! I'm Ian Loveall with Expert Village and we're painting murals today. Next, we have our basic stencil brush. As the name implies, this is used for stenciling. It can also be used for, well, pretty much anything you can think of. Here's a quick little demonstration of how it's usually used in stenciling. You'll have a mask or a stencil. You'll go and get just the tip in paint and then you'll actually dab most of that paint off. Okay, you'll keep dabbing until you've got just a little bit of paint on there. And then once it's almost dry, you can come over and create a very subtle stippling effect. This is great for use in shadowing or layered stencils. You can also drag it. So, as you can see, we now have a straight line with a very soft edge on the other side."
