"So, I've got here an assortment of just basic things you'll need to get started. We've covered the brushes and next we will talk about rags. Again, I have my favorites. I basically use these three on most of the murals I do, several different weaves. I've got this one that is very--it has a very coarse texture and a very loose weave, I don't know if you can see light through it or not. But this is great for dragging, pouncing, also if it's clean you can use it to wipe up drips and things like that. Also, I've got this one that has--it's sort of two-sided. I've got a smoother texture on this side and a very rough weave on this side. It's also much thicker and a tighter weave so that paint doesn't seep through it as much. This one is great for faux finishes if I need to create a soft cloudy look. This one can pick up and blend the paint really well without soaking up too much of the acrylic. And then finally, I've got this guy here. It's very soft almost spongy and again this is great for textures. You can wad it up and pounce it. You can spread it out and drag it. You can wipe it. Rags are incredibly useful. Grab a couple and just play around with them and--and try different strokes, different effects. You will be amazed at the variety you can come up with."
