"IAN LOVEALL: Hi! My name is Ian Loveall, I'm with Expert Village and I'd like to talk to you today about mural painting. I've been painting murals for about six, seven years now. I grew up on the Central Coast near San Luis Obispo and studied with a couple local professional artists, Debbie Kunic being one of them, you may be familiar with her work. I moved to the LA area about 7 years ago and I've been studying at the College of the Canyons under Joanne Julian and studying privately with Jay Wegter. So, I'm going to take you through all the basic steps you'll need to know for painting a mural including inspiration, conception, design, material is very important. What brushes should you use? How do you use sponges? Can you use rags for painting, you know? Paint thinners, I'll show you a neat trick with vodka later on. And pretty much everything you need to know to get yourself started."
