"I am going to show you one last really interesting way of adding texture to a slab for building. Use lace of any kind. It can be a doily. It can be something fancy crocheted. It can be anything. It can even be a place mat that is just sort of fake lace. It can be anything you can think of. Go to the craft store, let your mind go crazy, raid your grandmother's closet if she'll let you, whatever you can find. I am going to use this particular piece and show you what it looks like after you roll it into your slab. Now if you really wanted to you could make a circular slab and roll this in there and then have a plate that fits that design perfectly but for demonstration purposes I am just going to show you what it looks like. Get it prepared just like always, make sure it feels nice and flat before you send it through the roller. Roll it through and then remove your lace and you have a really cool texture that you can use for your slab building."
