"So now we're going to take this slab that has a little bit of added texture and make a cylindrical vase. This right here, is a piece of cardboard that was a paper tube for photographic paper. You can find these in a number of places, you can go buy a concrete tube form, there's a lot of ways to get a cylindrical form. But first you want to cut the base. You want it to be a little bit bigger than the tube itself. You've got your circle for your base. Then you want to give yourself a nice smooth top surface to your base, so that'll be the top of our base. And you want to give yourself a good straight cut for the bottom as well. Well, I guess I'm going to move it up. So there we go. We've got a nice straight piece cut and we're going to make a cylindrical base out of that."
