"So now that both sides are scored and slipped we can actually connect them. I just set it on there a little bit gently. And then I spin it. And it's actually pretty well on center but if it's not you can just gently tap the stem of the knob until it reaches the center point. And then I take my sponge. And you want to compress in the center first because you don't want to allow an air pocket in the middle there. Which is what will happen if you compress from the outside first. And that will blow your knob off in the firing. So compress in the center. Push down pretty hard. That's why we left the lid a little thicker. And then once you've got the middle attached, you want to get a lot of moisture on the top of the foot of the knob, but don't allow it to run down the lid itself. It takes a little bit of practice but you'll get it. Now push down pretty hard on the base of the knob. You want a really secure connection. OK, now once that's on there like that, just use your sponge to kind of clean up the edge and your fingers to make a little nice ledge. And we've got a knob. Next I'll show you how to extrude the handles and attach them to the sides."
