"Now, once you've got all those seams smoothed and you've finished with a little bit of slip on them you can do the final step in the construction part of this project. Which, is to apply the base. Now, you're going to want to go ahead and moisten the outside edge of the base slab and score that up really nicely. And, then on your little rectangular piece do the inside. So, the side that has the slab the canvas texture along the base. And, we're going to apply slip to this one and then score that in really nicely. And, once you've got that nice and goopy line it up on one corner and let it stick past the other. And, then press it very firmly up against that bottom slab all the way across. Use a lot of pressure here. Because, this is going to be the area that holds the water. You don't want any cracks or separation. You want this to be very well connected. And, then you're going to need to do that again. But, in addition to that you're also going to need to address the connection here and making that a nice good corner. So, that's what I'll show you next."
