"OK, now we're going to first just see, how far do I have to go? Looks like about an inch and a half all the way around on both sides, that I need to stretch this still. So I'm going to have my hand underneath. It's very important that you support this as you pull it out. Otherwise, your lid's going to flop down, you're going to lose it and you're going to have to start over. So always lots of support from the underside. I'm still pinching and pulling outward. I am doing it at a steeper angle than this is going to be in the final outcome, just so that I don't lose it, so that it doesn't fall down. I'm going to take my hard rib and use it to thin out a little bit more. And as the support. Check my width. I'm not quite there yet. And I'm noticing as I'm throwing that this starting to get to be the wrong shape. So what you have to do is to push in. Push down on the inside and support it on the outside to make it back into a nice bowl shape, so that you don't lose it. OK, that?s better. And now pull some more. Check it with the calipers. We're almost there. It's OK to have it a little too big, you just don't want to be too small. Because you can trim this lid and I'll show you how to do that later. Now if you're just a little bit too small like I am right now. All you have to do is lay down this edge just a little bit and that will widen it and give you that extra little bit of width that you need. And that looks good. We're done with that lid."
