"Now we're ready to pull the wall out. Get it wet, pinch with your left hand, take your right thumb, make yourself a little undercut so that you've got a place to start pulling. You pinch under that undercut, compress with the right hand, pull with the left. Always when you're doing your first pull, bring it in towards the center a little bit. You don't want to bring it out. Now I'm going to go ahead and lay in where my lid is going to sit and pinching with my left hand, creating a place for that lid and compressing with my right hand. Now I'm adding a little moisture. And now I'm going to pull to make it taller. I want these walls to go close to that spout. I don't want them to be much shorter, if any, than that spout. The lid will give you a little bit of room, so if your spouts a little taller than your walls, it's okay, because the lid is going to have a dome. And now finally, I'm just going to compress this and bring it in to it's final form. Fix the lip a little bit. Then one more time, and we'll have what we need. Give it a nice undercut. Fix the lip one more time. Now, you want to go ahead and do your measurement, just like I showed you with the casserole body. Torch it, and take it off the wheel."
