"So now that we have got our initial pull completed. Were ready to go ahead and shape this in to the form. I like to take my left hand and just hold my finger right up against the interior wall and give a little drip and let let that water drip my finger and I smooth it all along the side. So there is not very much water in there. But it's very well lubricated and then I take a flat metal rib. With a really nice sharp edge. Push in underneath the base and I have my interior hand pushing against this rib. Bit it's above where the rib pushes in and like I said you want to leave some clay here at the rim. You don't want to thin this out because were going to pull the spout next. It's at this stage that you want to go ahead and get your thickness to the weight that your looking for and also shape the bowl. So now I have got the walls about as thin as I want them to be and I'm going to to ahead and just pull this in to it's final form. Ok, so now I am ready to pull the spout on this batter bowl."
