"So when you're putting a beat together, you want to make sure to have variety and you want to keep that rhythm. You want to start out usually with a bass, so just a simple bass and then maybe you can add a snare drum, once and awhile, so you can go like this. Then every once and a while you can add a symbol in there, as well, so you can go. Then, on top of that, you can add the fill kicks, we've been talking about, to add more color into the noise. So it'll be. As you can tell, once you, when you build it up, it sounds a lot cooler than if it's just bland and empty. You want to make sure not to do the same beat, to long, but you want to make sure to not mix it up, too much, so that it sounds weird. Something that might not work, is to do a bass, right into a tongue roll. So you might not want to do this. As you can tell, it kind of sounds off, a little bit. You want to make sure there's really a fluid thing to it, so if you want to get into a quick roll, maybe add in a snare so it's (beat boxing). It's kind of hard, you kind of have to experiment with it. Make sure that your sounds work together, so that it's not cut up and it sounds good."
