"The first sound I'm going to do for you is the base drum. The base drum is the core of the sound of your whole beat boxing sequence that you're going to do. The base drum sounds like this. When I am doing that, what I am doing is pushing air out. It is all about the air. You want to really open your mouth inside and keep your lips close together so you get that airy, low base sound. You don't need to add any lower frequencies of your pitch or whatever; it's all about the air. You want to open up your throat in back of your mouth and keep your lips close together. Mostly with the base drum, you have to kind of experiment with it to get it good. So that it sounds like a base drum. So one more time for you, the base drum. If you notice, I am breathing in between each set that I am doing. That's just because when your beat boxing, you always need lots of air. Beat boxing is all about your air and air control.
