"Hi! I?m Erin and you're watching Expert Village. Today, we are going to start on an old age look for theater. Now we are going to start off with doing the base makeup. First off, what I was trying to explain earlier, we used our 2 foundations. I have one that's darker because I don't have the exact one to match. That's okay. If you don't have the exact colors to match your client, then you have to mix. I just took a little bit darker, but I also added a little bit of the lighter color just so it's not dramatically dark enough. Also, what you want to keep in mind is older aged people do have a little bit darker skin that normal because it has been worn out. They've been in the sun for years. These are things to think about when you're applying this kind of makeup. First off, I've already mixed it in a little bit here on my pallet. I?m going to take my foundation brush here and I?m going to start to apply. You see how that is a little bit darker than her normal skin tone. We're going to do like we did before. You take sponge, your angular sponge, and as you're applying, just kind of go over it and smooth it out. Maybe take off some of that excess stuff so it dries a little bit easier. Make sure you sponge it up into the hair follicles here, the hairline, so it's not too bad. Alright. Come back down this way. Get right in there. Just keep blending. Like I said before, I like to go with the curves of the face here. Right there. We didn't do any corrective makeup or anything just because we want to keep these nice colors that are in the skin right here a little darker to help us or guide us when we're going to be doing our shading and our highlighting. This is actually starting to look more like a bronzer in a way. It looks good. It looks like you just went to the islands. Make sure you get up in the nose. Of course, take off the excess again, spreading out evenly. You want to come down here under the jaw line. Right around here. By the ears. Make sure you cover all these bases so you don't have any lines or anything. It's very important to blend. Close your eyes. Alright. Go back over with your sponge again and take off that excess. Smooth it out. Smooth the colors out. Here we go. Here's one side of the face and you can finish and do the other side the same way."
