"A great way to manipulate the light is by using reflectors. Now I have got my professional reflector here, it is great because it collapses in everything and you can see that on this side its got a nice white reflected side and I am sure you can kind of see the light filling in for me. But if you don't want to go spend sixty five dollars or more on one of these reflectors, there is a lot of items that you have in your house that will work just great. For example, this is a simple pillow case. Now depending on the size that you need to use, you can use the full sheet, but the pillow case is nice and portable and easy to bring along. You can see you basically get the same effect on my face. And it is super easy to bring along with you. Another thing that is commonly used is poster board. So you can pick this up just over at the pharmacy or drug store and it is very simple to use and easy to control and it also has the same effect and it is very easy to move around and fill in the light. Now you will see that my reflector actually has another side to it that is very reflective and good on a day like this. Today is a little bit over casted and cloudy and you can see that I can really get some bright sharp contrast filled in with this. And what you can do is just take this poster board, grab some tin foil and cover one side of it and you will basically get the same effect by filling in your light with the aluminum foil and it is cheap, it is affordable and it is very easy to bring with you anywhere that you go.
