"I'm Frank Pope. Tips on how to build your own guitar. Pretend you have inlayed the fingerboard. Make sure that your neck is still true to the form. It slightly curves to the eye. Put double sided tape and 200 grit alligator paper. Restore the true radius of 12 inches and make sure that the fingerboard is true to the radius. Next, do a straight edge test. You can buy cheap pieces. Approximatley the length of the fingerboard. If there is a curve in the fingerboard you can use a fingerboard. I can't stress how important this is. You have to get this right before you can move on."
