"Hi, I'm Emily Larew, and we're now to going to put together a riffle with a scuffle. All right, so we're going to actually - this is a great way to continue to warm up your ankles if you want to take this across the floor, for yourself, or with other students. So what you're going to do is, we're going to do a three tap riffle, make sure you keep close to the floor, keep your footwork small, 'cause you do want to increase in speed as you get more advanced. Keeping your knees bent, weight over the toes, we have brush, heel, step, brush, heel, step, brush, heel, step. How many was that? Three. Then we're going to take our left foot and do a scuffle, heel, brush, heel. So again, a scuffle is heel, brush, heel. And you're making three sounds the whole time, whether you did a riffle or a scuffle. So your sounds are always going to be in threes. Five, six, three, here we go, and a one, two, three, and a four, brush, heel, step, you'll reverse it on the left. Just make sure you always count three riffles and then add your scuffle. And you'll start it over on the other side. Let's try a couple. Five, six, seven, eight. And that is your riffles with your scuffles."
