Hi, I'm Emily Larew, and we're going to take a look at flaps with a single heel, in our tap basics. So, starting with our right foot, we have a flap, I want you to make sure you're just going to drop that front foot heel. Drop the heel. And again, to get that extra loud sound in the heel, you need to make sure you bend your knee and put your weight into it so you have a loud sound. So we have flap, heel, flap, heel, flap, heel, flap, heel. And those would be walking flap heels. So, if we're going to put it together a little faster, you need to keep your foot closer to the floor, knees bent, and make sure you're really working that ankle using your plie and your knees. So, five, six, seven, eight, flap, heel...five, six, seven, eight. So it's a nice, crisp sound. Three sounds. Ready, five, six, seven, eight. Flap, heel... and those are your walking flaps with a single heel in the front.
