"Hi, I'm Emily Larew, and we're going to look at the buffalo step in our tap basics. So you might be wondering, wow, there are a lot of weird names in our tap, there are fun names, but, they'll help you remember how to put them together. So, buffalo, we're going to start with your right foot crossed in front of your left. Make sure that your knees are slightly bent, and you're going to transfer your weight to your right foot by jumping on it. So you have jump, you're going to shuffle with the left foot. Shuffle. And now I want you to jump back on that left foot. Jump. And you're going to start right where - back where you came from. So you're going to start and finish with your right foot, or whatever foot you're going to do in front. So you have jump, shuffle, jump. Again. Jump, shuffle, jump. One more time. Jump, shuffle, jump. Put your foot down. Cross your left over. So now let's try left. Jump, shuffle, jump. Jump, shuffle, jump. And again, what am I doing? I'm staying off my heels as I do the buffalo. So buffalo is, jump, shuffle, jump. And you're just transferring your weight from your right to your left and ending and beginning with your foot crossed in front."
