"Hi I'm Emily Larew, and we're continuing on with our intermediate tap. We're going learn now how to do a echappe' wing. So now you get to turn those toes out instead of keeping them parallel facing forward. So what you're going to do is you're going to take one foot, we're going to start in fifth position. What you're going to do is you're going to brush out, and go back in on the other side. So you're doing an echappe', so you're going to hit second, and you're going to close fifth behind. So one more time, remember though it's not like a front wing, you can't just use the ball of your foot to scrape out with because you'll be going in the wrong direction. You still have to push from here, scrape out, brush in, okay. So using both feet, we're going to push off at the same time, make sure you keep your weight in the center. Don't go forward on one foot, or lean in to the back, because then you're going to get a different sound, okay. So we're going to jump, jump and a wing, jump and a wing, echappe' wing, echappe' wing, there you go. That's how you do a echappe' wing, just remember to keep on the balls of your feet, keep center, and in the middle of your weight are in between your two feet and you'll have a wonderful echappe wing."
