"Hi I'm Emily Larew, we're continuing on with our intermediate tap, and we're going to learn how to do a single wing. So if you've got your full two double wings with your two feet down, then you want to move on to this one. So your single wing would be, you're going to start on one foot only, so it's a little bit trickier. All you're going to do is have that same motion, out, brush, in, scrape. Out, brush, in. Now you really need to have mind over matter that you are light as a feather, if you're thinking heavy thoughts and you're really getting down there and not pulling up on your upper body at all. It's going go be really hard to get off the floor here, okay. So you've got to use your pliee, and you've got to use your jump, use your ankle, let it relax as it goes out and in. Otherwise, if you keep it too steady, too strong, then you're going to just miss that brush in all together. So we have jump, jump and a wing, good. Try the left, ready we're going to try our jump, jump and a wing, there. And make sure again that your toes stay forward, you don't want them brushing out on the ball of your feet. And then you let it go to have a jump and a wing, good. Those were your single wings."
