"Hi, I'm Emily Larew, and we're going to now do a heel ball rock in our tap warm up. So, keeping our knees bent, we're going to start with our right heel and we're going to alternate, so we have heel, heel, ball, ball. We're always keeping one part of the foot on the floor, you're not going to pick your foot up as you're doing this. Keep your foot flat on the floor, and we're just going to accent the heel, heel, ball, ball. And I'm getting those nice loud noises because my knees are bent, and I'm really pressing into the floor. So as I lift my heel up, I'm using my weight into the floor as I drop my taps, alright, so we have heel, heel, ball, ball, heel, heel. This takes some coordination so it might start off slow before you can pick it up. So then we're going to go faster, heel, heel, ball, ball. And you can still tell that I'm really pressing into the floor creating just as much volume on my heels as the ball, alright? So when we're going those really fast ones, you really need to let your body rock with it, and you have to go with the weight of your feet, rolling as you go. And then you want to reverse it to the left to warm up your left side as well."
