"Hi, I'm Emily Larew, and we're going to take a look at stomp steps, this is continuing on in our warm up. Now we've been looking at the ball of the feet, working with that, making sure that our heel isn't dropping into the floor. On a stomp you can totally put your whole foot on the floor, and that's always a lot of fun because you can make a lot of extra noise. So, what we're going to do is you're going to go straight forward with this, keeping your knees bent, you're going to stomp, step, stomp, step. So as you can see, the step is without the heel, so you have stomp, step, stomp, step, stomp, step, stomp, step. Now as you're doing these stomp steps make sure your weight, you're not going forward, but you want to make sure that your weight in in that back supporting foot, stomp, step, stomp, step, stomp, step, stomp, step. Also, you just want to have a nice relaxed swing to your arms so that you're not...because then we're going to start looking like Irish dancers, which isn't bad, but we're just doing like a nice funky tap. Ready, 5, 6, 7, 8, we have stomp, step, stomp, step, 5, 6, 7, 8, stomp, step, stomp, step, stomp, step, stomp, step, stomp. Good job! And that was a stomp step for your tap warm up."
