So now I've measured out all the ingredients and colorants for a 15,000 gram batch of glaze. I had the water in there already so I added the ingredients to the water and they've all settled down into the water. You want to let that happen before you start drill mixing. And then you're going to need a drill mixer. Just a regular drill and then you can buy, this is made for drywall. There are some that are made specifically for mixing glazes that don't draw air in. They're a little bit more expensive so I just went to my hardware store and bought a drywall drill mixer. And then you just want to put that right down into the middle of your mixture. And then you're going to have to mix for a little while until you see that it's a pretty well mixed mixture. So that's pretty good. The next step is going to be actually sieving this through a nice screen to get it really even to make sure the particles are all small and then we can start testing with this glaze.
