So now I'm ready to mix this up and I did want to mention something that I didn't mention earlier, and that is the topic of harmful ingredients. If you're using a glaze for anything that's going to have food and drink, you don't want to use lead or barium, and there might be a couple of other ingredients. Check your hazardous materials guide. Just make sure that everything you're using is food safe. If you're going to be using it for those types of purposes. So, I told you earlier I liked to use these pan buckets, because they are air tight. Just make sure you get that lid on there really well, and then you can literally just shake this glaze up. Now I've used this a couple times, so a few little drops might be coming out because it may not be as perfectly air tight as it was when I bought it. But you want to get this really well mixed up. And then you want to check the thickness. Now for testing, I don't use a hydrometer the first time, I just use the knuckle test. And what that is, is you put your finger in there and you see if you can see any of the lines of your knuckle. And this is a little thick, I'm not seeing anything there, so I'm going to add a little bit of water to this, shake it up, and then I'll show you how to do the test.
