"So you remember that pot that we put a little bit of wax resist on earlier? We're going to dip that piece now. Remember I have a five count in this bright yellow glaze. And you want to wipe again on the bottom. Always wipe the bottom. And you see how the wax has resisted that glaze? This is going to cause a really cool effect in the end. But if you want to add a little bit more drama to this piece, it's really easy to add some decoration with your brush. So I'm going to take this big brush that I showed you earlier, I'm going to stir this darker glaze, get that brush nice and loaded up, get a lot of glaze on there. And what I'm going to do is I'm just going to kind of outline where I put the wax resist. And after this fires it's going to be a really neat effect because we're going to have a light brown base color with a darker brown accent, and then this darker brown is going to bleed into the bare clay and cause a little halo. So we're going to get a lot of action in that little area. And that's what you can do with the wax resist and with your brush."
