"Okay so once we've got our piece on there we're going to tighten this just by pulling. Hold your piece in place. You don't want it too tight because you don't want to push three dents into your pot. Make sure that it's pretty well in center. You can do a little tapping and the giffen grip will give a little bit. So now once we've got that on center we need to get our stem and get it nice and wet and score this up. We want to get this really goopy. This needs to be a really good connection. The last thing you want is for your goblet to blow off the stem in the firing. Now we're also going to do that here. I'm only going to do it in a circle because there is an open hole here and I don't want a whole bunch of scratchiness showing through in the finished pot. So now we're going to put this on here and we can do the actual connection."
